  • Chicken Breast - 400 Gms, cut into small pieces
  • Alfredo Pasta Sauce - ¾ cup
  • Chopped garlic - 1 Tablespoon
  • Butter - 2 Tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped onion as required
  • Chopped romaine lettuce as required
  • Chopped tomatoes as required
  • Sandwich buns as required

For Marination:

  • Pepper powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt - ½ Teaspoon

Alfredo Chicken Filling Preparation:

  1. Clean and wash and the chicken pieces, drain the water completely.
  2. Marinate the chicken pieces with salt and pepper mentioned in 'For marination'. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan, add in the marinated chicken pieces.
  4. Cook until the chicken is cooked through for about 4-8 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove the chicken from pan and cut into bite sized pieces. Set aside.
  6. Add in the chopped garlic in the same pan and fry for 1 minute on low heat. Add more butter if required.
  7. Then add in the Alfredo sauce; Mix well and cook until it starts to bubble on low-medium heat.
  8. Once the sauce starts to bubble, add in the cooked chicken pieces and toss to coat on low-medium heat. Adjust salt.
  9. Remove from heat and set aside.

Sandwich Arrangement:

  1. Place the sandwich buns in a hot pan and let it toast until heat through and slightly browned.
  2. To serve, place 3-4 tablespoons of Alfredo chicken filling on the bottom half of the buns.
  3. Sprinkle some chopped onion, tomatoes and lettuce on top. Top with the other half of the bun and enjoy!

Yield: Makes about 4-6 sandwiches.
