For Chicken Patties:

  • Ground or finely minced Chicken Breast Meat - 500 Gms
  • Finely chopped Sweet Onion - ½ cup
  • Fresh bread crumbs - 1 cup
  • Finely chopped garlic - 1 Tablespoon
  • Black Pepper Powder - 1 ½ Teaspoon
  • Dried Thyme leaves - 1 Teaspoon
  • Egg - 1 medium, beaten
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive Oil - 2-3 Tablespoon

For Assembling:

  • Burger Buns - 5-6 Nos
  • Cheddar Cheese slices - 5-6 Nos
  • Iceberg Lettuce, Tomato slices and Mayonnaise
  1. Mix all the ingredients except olive oil in a bowl. You can add little more bread crumbs, if the mixture is too sticky.
  2. Divide the mixture into 5 or 6 equal sized portions and shape each portion into medium thick patties.
  3. Heat 1-2 teaspoon of olive oil per patty in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Fry the patties one at a time, until cooked through and golden spots appear, for about 5 to 7 minutes per side on low-medium heat.
  5. On the last minute of frying, place a slice of cheese on the patty and close the pan with a lid and cook on low heat.
  6. Once the cheese starts to melt, transfer the patty to a platter and start assembling.
  7. Place the fried patties in buns and top with desired toppings.
