Ingredients
  • Boneless Chicken - 250-300 Gms, cut into small cube sized pieces
  • Pizza Dough - 500 Gms approx: (Check the recipe)
  • Pizza Sauce - ½ - ¾ cup, adjust(Check the recipe)
  • Butter for brusing the chicken, optional

For Marination:

  • Besan/Gram flour, Ground chickpeas - ½ Tablespoon
  • Yogurt - ⅛ cup
  • Lemon juice - ½ Tablespoon
  • Ginger-Garlic paste - 1 Tablespoon
  • Onion paste - ½ Tablespoon
  • Roasted cumin powder - ½ Tablespoon
  • Garam masala - ¼ Teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder - ¾ Teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - ¾ Teaspoon
  • Vegetable Oil - ½ Teaspoon
  • Salt to taste

For Pizza Topping:

  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese - 1 - 1 ½ cup, adjust
  • Sliced Onions - ½ - ¾ cup, adjust
  • Chopped Coriander leaves - 2-3 Tablespoon
Directions

Chicken Tikka Preparation:

  1. Marinate the chicken with the ingredients listed in 'For marination' and refrigerate overnight or for at-least 2 hours.
  2. Soak skewers in water for 30 minutes. While skewers are soaking, bring chicken to room temperature.
  3. Preheat broiler and arrange a broiler pan with aluminium foil.
  4. Divide chicken pieces among skewers, leaving some space between chicken pieces, arrange skewers across broiler pan.
  5. Broil chicken about 4 inches from heat, turning over once and brush the chicken pieces with butter, if using.
  6. Broil until browned in spots and just cooked through, 8 to 12 minutes total. Or grill till cooked. Or bake for 15-20 mins at 350°F.

Pizza Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Dust the working surface slightly with flour, and roll the dough to fit your pizza pan, then transfer to a pizza pan, lift the edges of the pizza to form a slight rim.
  3. Let it sit for about 10 minutes. Makes some holes on the pizza crust using a fork.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce on the pizza crust.
  5. Sprinkle ¾ portion of shredded cheese on top.
  6. Then arrange the chicken tikka on the pizza. Top it with the sliced onions and the remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for about 12-18 minutes or until the side of the pizza crust is slightly golden and the cheese are completely melted.
  8. The baking time may vary according to the oven model. So check now and then after the first 10 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle the chopped coriander leaves on top.
  10. Serve after 3-4 minutes.
