  • Flour tortillas - 10-12 Nos
  • Sugar - ½ cup
  • Ground cinnamon - 2 Tablespoon
  • Ground Nutmeg - ⅛ Teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil to fry
  1. Cut the tortillas into ¾ inch square/diamond pieces. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg powder. Set aside.
  3. Heat enough oil to fry the tortilla pieces in a heavy bottomed deep pan. Once the oil is hot, reduce heat to low-medium.
  4. Fry the tortilla pieces as batches until both sides are slightly golden in color and crispy on low-medium heat.
  5. Remove from the oil and transfer to a paper towel.
  6. Once all the tortilla pieces are fried, add it into the sugar mixture and toss well. Make sure all the pieces are coated well.
  7. Store it in an air-tight container and serve as needed.
