Ingredients
  • Yogurt - 1 cup
  • Cold Water - 1 - 1 ½ cup, adjust
  • Ginger - 1-2 small pieces
  • Green Chilli - 1 Nos
  • Cumin Seeds - ½ Teaspoon
  • Black Pepper Corns - 5-10 Nos, adjust
  • Coriander Leaves - 2 Tablespoon
  • Curry Leaves - 3-4 leaves
  • Asafoetida or Hing - a generous pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Ice Cubes, as required, optional
Directions
  1. Take everything except water and ice cubes in a blender and blend well.
  2. Then add in the water and blend until frothy.
  3. Strain the masala buttermilk, if desired.
  4. Add ice cubes in a serving glass, pour in the spiced buttermilk and serve chilled.
