Ingredients
  • All purpose flour - 2 ¼ cups
  • Milk - 1 ¼ cup
  • Butter - ⅔ cup / 150 Gms
  • Sugar - 2 cups
  • Vanilla extract - 1 Teaspoon
  • Baking powder- 2 ½ Teaspoon
  • Eggs - 4 Nos
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a 13x9 inch baking pan and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat eggs on high speed for 5 minutes.
  4. Add sugar and vanilla extract, beat until pale and fluffy.
  5. Mix together flour and baking powder in a separate bowl and then sift to remove any lumps.
  6. Add the flour mixture little by little over the batter; beat at low speed until smooth.
  7. Heat milk and butter in a saucepan, until butter is melted.
  8. Gradually add milk-butter mixture into the batter, beat until combined.
  9. Pour into the greased pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center of the cake turns out clean.
  10. Cool on a wire rack.
