Ingredients
  • Potato, medium sized - 2 Nos, cut into 1 inch strips
  • Onion, small sized - 1 Nos, thinly sliced
  • Geen Chilly - 1 Nos, slit
  • Turmeric Powder - ¼ Teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder - ¾ - 1 Teaspoon, adjust according to your taste
  • Garam Masala - ⅛ Teaspoon
  • Curry leaves - 1 sprig
  • Coconut oil - 2 Tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
Directions
  1. In a bowl, mix together the potato strips, sliced onion, green chilli, curry leaves, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in a heavy bottomed wide pan, add in the prepared potato mixture and mix well.
  3. Cover and cook until the potato pieces are cooked well on low heat.
  4. Then add in 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and fry for about 3-5 minutes or until the potato pieces are slightly roasted on low heat. Stir occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and serve hot.
