  • Chicken - 500 Gms, cut into small pieces
  • Onion, medium sized - 2 Nos, finely chopped
  • Green Chillies - 4 Nos, finely chopped
  • Tomato Sauce - 1 Tablespoon
  • Curry Leaves - 2 sprig
  • Vegetable Oil - 2 Tablespoon
  • Salt to taste

For Marination:

  • Crushed Garlic - 4 Tablespoon
  • Red Chilli flakes- 1 - 1 ½ Tablespoon, adjust
  • Vinegar - 1 Tablespoon
  • Salt - ½ Teaspoon
  1. Clean and wash the chicken pieces. Drain the water completely.
  2. Marinate the chicken pieces with the ingredients mentioned in 'For marination' and keep it aside for one hour.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan, add in the chopped onion and saute until slightly brown and let it cool; Then grind to a fine paste and set aside.
  4. Heat the remaining oil in a heavy bottomed pan, add in the curry leaves and saute for few seconds.
  5. Add in the chicken pieces and saute for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
  6. Add little water and salt. Mix well and cook until the chicken is almost done.
  7. Then add in the onion paste and tomato sauce. Mix well and cook until the chicken is tender and the gravy is thick.
  8. Once the gravy is thick, add in the green chillies and mix well.
  9. Remove from heat and serve warm.
