  • All-purpose flour - 3 cups
  • Baking powder - 1 ½ Teaspoon
  • Melted Butter - 2 Tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 ½ Teaspoon
  • Warm water as required
  1. In a large bowl, add in the flour, baking powder, butter, salt and mix well.
  2. Pour in the warm water little by little and mix well. Knead it well and make a soft dough.
  3. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it stand for about 20-30 minutes.
  4. Then divide the dough into 12 equal balls.
  5. Roll each ball using a rolling pin and make a very thin tortilla. Roll it out as thin as you can.
  6. Heat a pan, cook each tortillas for a few seconds on each side or until bubbly and light golden spots on both sides over medium-high heat. Do not overcook.
  7. Cover the cooked tortillas using a towel or keep it in a large bowl and cover it with lid to keep them soft and hot.
  8. Serve warm.
