For Mango-Mint Syrup:

  • Roughly chopped sweet Ripe Mango - 1 ½ cup
  • Lemon Juice - 4-6 Tablespoon, freshly squeezed
  • Mint - 8-10 leaves, adjust according to your taste
  • Sugar - ½ - ¾ cup, adjust according to your taste
  • Water - 1 cup

For Serving:

  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon wedges or Mint Leaves
  • Cold water or chilled club soda as required, 4 cups approx:
  1. Blend together the items listed in 'For Mango-Mint Syrup' until smooth.
  2. Strain the syrup through a mesh-sieve. Pressing down the mixture using the back of a spoon to extract maximum syrup.
  3. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Serving Instructions:

  1. Add ice cubes in the serving glasses. Fill little more than ⅓ portion of the glass with the mango-mint syrup.
  2. Pour cold water or club soda into the glasses till it almost reaches the brim.
  3. Garnish with fresh lime wedges and mint leaves. Serve chilled.


  • Adjust the quantity of lime juice according to the tanginess.
  • Adjust the quantity of mint leaves according to you taste.
  • Adjust the quantity of sugar according to your taste. Make sure that the mango-mint syrup is sweeter than you normally like.
  • I used almost ½ cup sugar.
